Hardwick said the football club asked her to pose in her birthday suit because she’s the oldest person in the village.

“It’s just a bit of fun really,” she said.

“They draped a bit of pink cloth around my shoulders, but at my age I just don’t have the model body to be taking it all off,” she told a U.K. newspaper. “It was all very tastefully done. You couldn’t see any of the bits or anything.”

Whats more amazing, is that the type of baldness also seemed to have an impact on the likelihood to develop heart disease.

Those with frontal baldness had a 9% increased chance of getting heart disease.

Men whose crowns were completely bald had a 36% greater risk of having a coronary event when compared to men who were not bald, including a heart attack and angina.

Why does it happen?

One theory centres on the elevated levels of male hormones associated with baldness. Bald men seem to have a greater number of androgen receptors in their scalps , and androgens may contribute to both atheroscelrosis - build-up of fatty deposits in the arteries - and thrombosis, a susceptibility to blood clots. Researchers also say that heart disease and baldness may be inherited together.
