If you suspect that you are pregnant, have a look at the list of early pregnancy symptoms below. If you feel that you have one or two of the symptom of pregnancy below, it does not mean that you are definitely pregnant. These are just pregnancy symptoms, not definite pregnancy indicators. If you suspect that you are pregnant, you should take a pregnancy test (most home pregnancy tests are 99% accurate).

Pregnancy Symptom When Reason
Delayed Period Throughout pregnancy This is the most widely known symptom of pregnancy, but it is not conclusive. Some women may still have a small bit of bleeding about the time when they are due their period. A delayed period can also be caused by a number of other reasons including - Excessive weight gain or loss, fatigue, hormonal problems, tension, stress, going off the birth control pill or breast feeding
Nausea 2-8 weeks after conception "Morning sickness" is another known symptom of pregnancy, but only affects about 50% of women. Sickness can be caused by - Food poisoning, stress and other stomach disorders. Morning sickness does not necessarily occur only in the morning, may expectant women suffer from "Morning sickness" in the evening time, all day, intermittently during the day.
Headaches 6-8 weeks after conception Headaches are a symptom of pregnancy, but are not necessarily a sign of pregnancy. Headaches are more common in pregnancy due to the changes in hormones
Tender/Swollen Breasts 1-13 weeks after conception Tender/Swollen breasts are usually caused by increased levels of the hormones estrogen and progesterone produced during pregnancy along with the fact that your breasts are beginning to increase in size as the fat layer thickens and you add milk glands and extra blood
Swelling Throughout pregnancy Some women do begin to bloat almost immediately after conception. Again, this is a symptom of pregnancy, but not necessarily a sign
Darkening of Areola (Breast nipple) 1-14 weeks after conception  
Fatigue 1-13 weeks after conception Your body is working overtime making the baby, and it takes its toll. You may feel tired all the time, and only want to sleep. Although some women tend to gain their energy back a little in the second trimester
Food Cravings Throughout pregnancy Another common symptom of pregnancy, is of course, the food cravings. You might crave fruits, meats, sweets, ice, or even non edible foods such as cigarette butts, ashes, etc. The latter are not recommended!!
